Lindsborg Wavemaker Swim Team Information - 2026

Head Coach

Morgan King

Assistant Coaches: Alyssa Crowther, Mary Voigt

Beth Ferguson, Lindsborg Parks and Recreation director
Lauren Doak, Aquatics Director

Practice times

May 28 - May 29: Two practices at 11 and noon
June 1 - July 10: Two practices at 7:30 and 8:30 AM
Our one home meet this year is Saturday June 6. Parents are expected to volunteer.

Swimmers will be assigned practice times, with consideration given to keeping youngest swimmers (puddle jumpers) at the later time and keeping families together. If you can not make your assigned time, please come when able.
Oldest swimmers who have time constraints with jobs and other scheduled activities will be permitted to come and go as necessary.
All swimmers should arrive 10 minutes early for stretching. Those in the first practice will be expected to help with equipment set-up; those in the last with put-up.

Puddle Jumpers

For those who can not yet swim the 25 yard length of the pool but are comfortable with their heads in the water, and in water over their heads, we offer a two-week program of preparation for swim team.
Puddle jumpers meet at the second swim practice session, and have 8 practices to "pass" into Wavemakers.
Those who don't will be asked to come try again next summer; meanwhile, swimming lessons are available at the pool for further instruction.

We swim in the Mid-Kansas Swim League with:

Abilene
Council Grove
Herington
Hesston
Hillsboro
Marion
Peabody
Solomon.
