We swim in the Mid-Kansas Swim League with:
Abilene, Council Grove, Herington, Hesston, Hillsboro, Marion, Moundridge, Peabody and Solomon.

2006 swim meets are Saturday mornings:
     June 10 at Solomon. Final results: Lindsborg 497, Hillsboro 481, Solomon 412

PUDDLE JUMPERS
For the first two seeks only, we will have a group at the noon practice for swimmers who are not able to cross the length of the pool using a competitive stroke. They will be known as the Puddlejumpers. If after those two weeks a child is unable to cross the pool using a competitive swimming stroke, he/she will not be able to join the Wavemakers. We encourage those swimmers to take Parks & Rec swim lessons and hope to see them back next year.Kristy Bergstrom, Terry Johnson, and Donna Raile will work with the Puddlejumpers.

Remember to eat a good breakfast and bring water and fruit snacks.
Always eat after a race, rather than just before the next one.

Swimmer's Ear warning:
Watch for signs of swimmer's ear infections:
Ear ache, head ache and fever.
Suggested prevention: after swimming, apply ear drops as soon as possible.
Ear drop mixture: equal parts rubbing alcohol and vinegar.
Ear plugs are also useful if they keep water out.

Practice times
Monday thru Friday, May 30 thru July 7
Early group: 11 AM most days (except Jun 12-23, and Jul 3-7 when practice will be held at 9 AM)
Later group: noon every day
All swimmers to arrive 10 minutes early for stretching.
Meet commitments due Tuesdays before each meet, except League meet committments due Thursday June 29.

Team Swim Party Wednesday June 28, 8 PM, Bring snacks to share.
The Awards Banquet will be Sunday, July 9, 5:30 pm at Messiah Church (potluck).
